In addition to the Federal energy relief rebate residential and small business customers in Queensland are eligible for the Queensland Government Cost of Living Rebate or Small Business Rebate.

How much is the Cost-of-Living Rebate?

All households in Queensland will receive a $1000 rebate.

Eligible small businesses in Queensland will receive a $325 rebate.

Residential customers

You do not need to do anything to receive this rebate. The rebate will be automatically applied to electricity bills.

For QLD households and small businesses, the rebate will be applied to accounts by 31st December 2024.

Small business customers

If you’re a small business whose annual electricity consumption is under or meets the threshold below, and were incurring electricity costs on the census date are eligible to receive this rebate.  You do not need to do anything to receive this rebate.  It will be automatically applied to electricity bills.
