If you live or operate a business within an embedded network and have chosen another electricity retailer, you may receive:
a bill from your chosen retailer for your electricity supply; and
a separate bill from the embedded network operator for applicable charges associated with using the building’s private electricity network.
The particular billing arrangements and charges depend on the embedded network, your agreement and the requirements applying in your state or territory. Choosing another retailer does not result in two bills in every embedded network.
Each bill should identify the business issuing it, the billing period and the services or charges covered.
If you need help understanding the charges covered by each bill, please contact us.
